This painting captures that particular feeling of walking alone in the woods. All around you are the softened light, the tall trees, the cool air, and the sense that the path is leading somewhere worth going. A time for reflection.
Layers of gray, blue, lavender, and muted green create a misty, almost dreamlike forest, while the dark trunks give the painting a strong sense of depth and direction.
Original watercolor on archival paper. 7 × 10 inches.
