With its Tudor architecture, clock tower, and tree-lined campus, Oakwood High School has been a familiar landmark for generations. Originally completed in 1927 and thoughtfully expanded over the decades, the building reflects both our community’s English-inspired character and its enduring commitment to education.
I was drawn to the way the spring trees soften the strong lines of the architecture, creating a scene that feels both timeless and welcoming. Painting places as they are remembered, I hope to preserve the warmth, beauty, and quiet sense of place that make them meaningful.
Original watercolor on archival paper. 5 × 7 inches.
